Business programme and special events of SEMIEXPO Russia 2020
In 2020, the SEMIEXPO Russia exhibition will be held on June 9-10 at the Expocentre Fairgrounds. The organizer is BUSINESS MEDIA RUSSIA, the official representative of SEMI in Russia.
The SEMIEXPO Russia project is supported by leading Russian and foreign associations in the field of development of technologies and standards in the field of microelectronics.
SEMIEXPO Russia presents to the specialists a wide range of equipment and materials for the production of semiconductor devices and components, microcircuits, sensors, MEMS and more. In 2019, more than 1,500 specialists visited the exhibition in two days.
Having become a part of the SEMIEXPO Russia project, participants and visitors have the opportunity to get up-to-date information on the state of the Russian and international microelectronics markets, growth points and features of working with domestic enterprises, find new solutions for cooperation, conclude profitable deals and build long-term relationships at the international level.
The organizers of SEMIEXPO Russia have already begun preparations for the 2020 exhibition. The business programme will be updated with new effective and interactive formats.
SEMIEXPO Russia is more than exhibition. This is a full-fledged business platform for the exchange of experience between Russian and international experts, a platform for meetings and negotiations at the highest level, the search for new talents and valuable marketing information about the Russian and international markets.
The following activities are already planned in the 2020 program:
International MEMS Forum
MEMS-Forum within the frames of SEMIEXPO Russia for its long history has acquired the status of an international conference, which annually becomes the leading event on the topic of microsystems in Russia and CIS countries.
Each year the organizers team investigate the most acute topics aimed at the development and production of modern MEMS sensors and sensor solutions. Special attention is paid to the areas of application of high-tech sensors like smart cities, Industry 4.0, digital economy.
The MEMS Forum is organized by Russian MEMS Association (RAMEMS), Sovtest ATE, BusinessMediaRussia, Silicon Saxony e.V.
The business program will also include the Pitch deck session and contest “Innovative Electronics” with the selected electronics, machinery and IT start-ups.
During the program, the participating teams receive a great experience of participation in international industry exhibition and forum SEMIEXPO RUSSIA, where a special Science & Technology ARENA for INRADEL projects is arranged.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for young entrepreneurs to show their projects for a worldwide society. Studying, working and developing a business can and should be spread around the world.
For those participants and visitors who keep abreast of global trends, the SEMIEXPO Russia team regularly publishes SEMIEXPO Market Update – monthly industry review, which includes articles, interviews, news from key Russian and international companies.
Each month the most relevant news are collected in the monthly SEMIEXPO Market Update, filled with the most relevant information, which appears regularly to ensure participant’s growth and development in Russia and CIS.
In 2020, a match-making system will be launched. Exhibitors and visitors will have the opportunity to schedule business meetings with Russian executives and experts.
SEMIEXPO Russia provides an excellent opportunity to reach the main producers and businesses along the semiconductor value chain and to expand into the Russian market.
It brings together the participating companies with decision makers and professionals from the industry and deals with the current challenges and trends.
In order to establish an even more comfortable atmosphere and increase the exhibitor’s and visitor’s participation goal, the match-making programme will focus Russian and CIS companies, exhibitors and experts of SEMIEXPO Russia 2020.
For the second time during the exhibition the Talent Day will be held, the participants of which will meet in a new interactive format of Career Café.
The Talent Day is a completely new format for Russian electronics b2b exhibitions, a multi-channel tool aimed at recruiting, educating and exchanging expertise and best practices in workforce development, targeting microelectronics, semiconductor and hi-tech companies.
Young engineers and students have a chance to meet with experienced industry professionals from all around the world during SEMIEXPO Russia and explore career opportunities of a wide range.
The Career Café will be organized in the middle of exhibition boots and will allow both parties (interested companies and potential employees) meet eye-to-eye and can start a recruitment process onsite. This Talent Day is a real milestone for global mobility.
