Zelenograd company “Rokor” plans to open at the site “Alubushevo” in the special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow” the production of synthetic sapphires (Al2O3), used in microelectronics. The project cost is estimated at 151 million rubles. Rocor LLC will use a plot of 0.59 hectares, 50 jobs will be created.
In the planned product range – plates for manufacturers of semiconductor chips and 6 ”plates for the manufacture of LEDs, as well as sapphire tubes, closures for watches, blanks for mobile phones. Start of production is scheduled for spring 2020.
