On June 9-10, 2020, the Moscow’s Expocenter will host the International Exhibition and Conference on Technologies, Standards and Equipment in Microelectronics SEMIEXPO Russia. Organizer – Business Media Russia, the official representative of SEMI in Russia.
SEMIEXPO Russia presents to specialists a wide range of equipment and materials for the production of semiconductor devices and components, microcircuits, sensors, MEMS and much more. In 2019, more than 1,500 specialists visited the exhibition in two days.
The importance of the SEMIEXPO Russia exhibition project is highly appreciated by the Russian microelectronics industry – the project is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, leading Russian and foreign technologies development and microelectronics standards associations.
On January 17, 2020 the Strategy for the development of the electronic industry of the Russian Federation for the period until 2030 and a plan for its implementation were approved, what marked a significant event for the microelectronics industry. The strategy defines the guidelines of state policy in the field of development of the electronic industry, its goal is to create a competitive industry based on the development of scientific, technical and personnel potential, optimization and technical re-equipment of production capacities, creation and development of new industrial technologies.
By 2030, it’s planned to increase the share of civilian electronic products in the total industrial production (revenue) to 87.9%, the share of Russian-made electronic products in the total domestic electronics market (revenue) – up to 59.1%, and export electronic products should exceed 12 billion US dollars.
In this regard, the role of huge industry business events as a platform for strengthening existing and creating new partnership projects, establishing business relations is growing. These events are also designed to stimulate more the introduction of Russian products both in the domestic and foreign markets.
SEMIEXPO Russia exhibition is dedicated to promote the export of domestic products to foreign markets, as well as increase the competitiveness of Russian projects in the field of civil microelectronics in the domestic and international markets.
At SEMIEXPO Russia 2020, Russian and foreign cluster expositions and presentations of advanced technological projects will be organized, many of which will be presented on the Russian market for the first time. The participation of German companies represented by the Silicon Saxony cluster will grow.
SEMIEXPO Russia is more than an exhibition. This is a wide business platform to exchange of experience between Russian and international experts, a platform for meetings and negotiations at the highest level, the search for new talents and valuable marketing information about the Russian and international markets.
